FLOWER PARADE IN THE BOLLENSTREEK REGION
FROM NOORDWIJK TO HAARLEM
A 42-kilometer journey filled with color, flowers, and magnificent floats. Decorated with hyacinths and other colorful spring flowers, the parade winds its way from Noordwijk to Haarlem. An impressive spectacle for young and old alike!
For five days, the Bollenstreek is in full bloom, and the bulb-growing towns and Haarlem transform into one big spring festival. With flowers, the parade, and plenty of activities, there’s something to enjoy everywhere.
FLOWER PARADE STANDS WITH COVERED SEATING
Experience the Flower Parade from one of our parade grandstands. A pleasant, sheltered spot, fully catered, and offering a spectacular view of the Flower Parade as it passes by. You’ll find the parade grandstands in Noordwijkerhout (Friday evening), Noordwijk, Voorhout, Sassenheim, Lisse, and Hillegom. Make it a truly unique and complete experience with lunch, a walk through the tulip fields, or a workshop.
PARKING
There are several (free) parking spaces available in the immediate vicinity. Use your GPS to navigate to the location, and from there, follow the directions of the traffic controllers. A limited number of parking spaces are available on-site for people with disabilities.
PUBLIC TRANSPORT
Choose a spot where you want to watch the parade. Two hours before and two hours after that time, the roads around that spot will be closed to other traffic. So please use public transportation (www.9292.nl), ride a bike, or walk to the village centers. There are several cozy outdoor cafes along the route.
