Become a Friend

Committed residents, visitors, and other interested parties can support the Bloemencorso Bollenstreek financially as a Friend. In practice, this means that we recognize you as an individual. You support us annually with a contribution of 25 euros. As a Friend, you’ll receive an invitation for two people to the setup or flower-arranging days at De Klinkenberg Tennis Hall in Sassenheim. There, you’ll see how the floats are decorated with flowers in just a few days. It’s quite a task that requires many helping hands and countless hours of work. You can take photos and ask all sorts of questions of the volunteers who are arranging the flowers.

Friends Parade

Since the anniversary edition in 2022 (the 75th Bollenstreek Flower Parade), the Friends Parade has led the way ahead of the main parade. This event is specifically designed to increase the visibility of Business Partners as a thank-you for their financial support. All Business Partners’ logos are displayed on a large mobile LED screen. This screen travels the entire 42-kilometer route. The Bollenstreek Flower Parade is enjoyed by a huge number of people every year—from young to old, and by local, regional, national, and international visitors. The Bollenstreek Flower Parade is known around the world!

Events Foster a Stronger Sense of Community

We’re proud of all our Friends and Business Partners! We’d like to strengthen these friendships to further increase engagement in the region through the Bollenstreek Flower Parade—not just around the time of the parade, but also throughout the year. How do we do that? By organizing activities just for you. These are designed to give you—as a Friend or Business Partner of the Bloemencorso Bollenstreek—a chance to meet one another in a relaxed setting. This makes being a Friend or Business Partner more appealing for everyone involved. Think of it like a sports club’s business network.
