Relive the Flower Parade!
Friends of the Bollenstreek Flower Parade
Do you support the Bloemencorso Bollenstreek? Then become a Friend or Business Partner! By doing so, you’ll not only make an important financial contribution to the Bloemencorso Bollenstreek. You’ll also enjoy many great perks. The Bloemencorso Bollenstreek is the largest spring festival in the Netherlands. This fragrant and colorful spectacle is celebrated by nearly a million people over the course of a single week.
The highlight is Parade Saturday, when colorful floats and luxurious cars lavishly decorated with flowers make their 42-kilometer journey. Cheerful music and spectacular entertainment make the Bollenstreek Flower Parade an experience for all the senses. To make such a grand event as the Bollenstreek Flower Parade a reality, some 1,500 volunteers are hard at work. In addition to all the volunteer effort, funding is, of course, also needed. We’d love to count on you, too! Together for a sustainable and innovative Bloemencorso Bollenstreek—now and in the future.
How Can I Support the Bollenstreek Flower Parade?
In addition to all the volunteer efforts, there are, of course, costs involved in organizing the parade. The majority of these costs are covered by parade participants who financially “adopt” a float, as well as by participants who ride in the parade in a luxury or special vehicle. In addition, some support comes from grants and donations. To cover shortfalls, special requests, unforeseen costs, and necessary extras, the Friends and Business Partners step in to help. Together, we keep the Bollenstreek Flower Parade running, now and in the future.
Friends and Business Partners
We call anyone who supports us on a personal basis a Friend. Entrepreneurs and other business contacts who make financial contributions are called Business Partners. To make a major event like the Bloemencorso Bollenstreek a reality, some 1,500 volunteers are hard at work. The hundreds of thousands of flowers are generously donated by the growers.
